It was the birth of the mAadhaar app which was launched on July 18th 2017. It was launched by UIDAI. The mAadhaar app came up with more security functions and fast improved technology making the use of Aadhaar super quick and secured.
The mAadhaar app has a lot of unique features.
Password - The mAadhaar app Password system is the most important safety guard for the app. The password is 8 characters long with a must have 1 Capital number, 1 special character and 1 numerical.
The other features of the mAadhaar app are
Biometric Locking and Unlocking-The lock/unlock Biometric feature of Aadhaar enables the user to lock their information. Once locked, it cannot be used by anyone for the authentication.
TOTP Generation- The mAadhaar app has launched the TOTP where a requested OTP is generated. The TOTP expires every 1 minute and a new OTP is generated.
Sharing of QR Code and e-KYC data- This is the most unique and special feature of mAadhaar app. You can use the QR Code which will track down your demographic information and you get your authentication done in few seconds. You can also send your KYC data information over internet via E-mail or other file sharing devices such as Dropbox etc. The data will be in encrypted format thus maintaining the privacy of the data.
